We all crave a good pancake here and there, or maybe everyday? Personally I never eat them because I know how high in carbohydrates they can be. This especially holds true when you order them out! I like to know what goes into my pancakes, this way, I can alter them and make them healthier.
Low Calorie Cinnamon Pancakes

Serves 2
Ingredients
- 1 cup Wheat Flour
- 2 large Egg Whites
- .5 cup Fat Free Milk
- .5 cup water
- 2 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1-2 tsp sweetener of choice (Splenda, Stevia, Truvia, Sweet & Low etc.) I used Splenda
Instructions
- Beat one egg whites in bowl with baking powder and sweetener
- In another bowl mix the flour with the cinnamon
- Add the first bowl to second bowl, immediately begin to add fat free milk gradually as you stir.
- Add non stick cooking spray to your pan, let it heat up, then start making the pancakes.
- Top with whatever you choose, just remember that can add more calories, carbs, and sugars!
