The Full House house in San Francisco!
The best meal I had on the entire trip. This French restaurant is called Cocotte, a little pricey, but we decided to go anyway. We split the “Whole Chicken” on the menu and it was out of this world! We got a side of broccolini with roasted pumpkin seeds and goat cheese potatoes au gratin. If you are ever in San Francisco… go there and request the table in the hidden corner!
Below- Bun Mee (cute, cheap, thai food in San Francisco)
We ate Thai food a lot on this trip (Hey, it’s a good thing we like it since we will be living in Thailand for 3 months!)
After San Francisco, we stayed in Monterey for one night, then headed down to Pismo beach for another night.
Below- Chicken Satay from Zab Zab
Pismo at night is beautiful. It awesome to see mountains everywhere you go in California. Since I have lived in New Jersey my whole life, it was a nice change of scenery!

If you are going to to the whole California road trip thing, you have to take the Pacific Coast Highway (Route 1). The sights are unbelievable!
For example, Big Sur!
This is our “thats a longggg way down face”
Next we stayed in beautiful, fun, lively Venice Beach for 2 nights! Im telling you, in spots like these, air bnb is the way to go!
Yummy fajitas from Baja Cantina In Venice
After Venice, we stayed in West Hollywood for 3 nights!
Ok, so the famous In N Out burger was awesome. However, the fries are not as good as they look! I was a little disappointed!
LaLas Argentinian Grill- LA (great prices and even better food!)
After LA, we stayed in Laguna Beach for 2 nights! It was prettier than I had imagined!

Seals are all over in La Jolla Beach, so cute!
After staying in La Jolla for one night (I don’t know where all my pictures went from that day/night 🙁 ) we stayed in San Diego for 3 nights.
Dan and I also ate a lot of sushi and sashimi (healthy and delicious) -this is my new favorite roll since I try to stay away from carbs, cucumber, crabmeat, tuna, salmon, and yellowtail.
Happy hour at BICE= amazing. Everything, including drinks were $5
Altitude Sky Bar. Such an amazing view!
Harbor cruise in the San Diego Bay.
Of course we had to stop at the San Diego Zoo
Kettner Exchange Bar & Lounge
Sunset Cliffs
Stunning photos! I moved to LA recently and I’m loving California so much so far!
